I bought this because the original pump head and tube had failed. This is way better than the original. It is longer by at least 6 inches which is very convenient. It clamps better than the original on Presta style valves. These are the thinner and longer type. I had to fool with the parts a little to install this as the instructions were a bit too brief. However, I was able to do it in just a few tries and a few minutes. I was very pleased with this part as it meant I did not have to dispose of my pump and could continue to use it.
