This thing is HORRIBLE! My 1 year old son received one of these yellow H2's from his Grandpa this past Christmas. It took a few minutes, but was fairly easy to put together. Charged the battery for 18 hours. Took my son outside, all he could do was step on the petal, but he loved it. He started riding down the driveway. The first thing I notice is that this H2 had virtually no traction. Even on the driveway it spins the wheels. As far as riding off road at all, even in grass, forget it. So he road about 150 yards and the battery died; I ended up pushing him back.
This thing could barely pull my 1 year old!
So, the truck ends up sitting in my garage until spring. I stored the battery with a full charge (18 hours). Today was the second day we took the H2 out this spring. Again today, I ended up pushing my son, now 2, up the driveway. So after a little bit of searching I found this customer no-service number, 1-877-743-3899. All they told me was my product was out of the 90 day warranty and they couldn't do anything for me, unless I wanted to buy a $30 battery.
No, I'm not going to buy their battery for $30. I'm going to walmart to buy a real power-wheels battery and charger, and I'm going to MAKE it work.
From this point, I will not be buying any products made by 'National Products LTD'
