I've put these conversion units on three Blackburn pumps and a cherished old Silca. Haven't had any problems in ~5 years use, seems to cope well with pressures up to 125 psi. Would agree that sometimes the Presta head is a little quirky about not being too eager to let go of the valve stem, but I don't see it as worse than most other pumps I've used.
