I use this at night when rowing. It is very bright, noticeably brighter than both the Planet Bike Superflash and the NiteRider Cherry Bomb.
However, it's boring, just a single repetitive flash. Both the primary light and the side amber lights flash at the same time.
Also, the primary light is concentrated directly back, about the same dispersion angle as the Superflash, much narrower than the Cherry Bomb.
For use along a road where hazards are coming up pretty much directly behind you this is a useful device. But I think both the Superflash and the Cherry Bomb are better, despite their lower brightness, because their flash patterns attract more attention.
