I purchased these pads for my four year old son. The pads work as designed, protecting him from needless scrapes as he learns to roller skate; however, they are a little too large for him. They fit well enough that they are usable, especially when he has on a jacket. When it gets warmer out they might be a little more loose on him though. Of course, by then he may have grown a bit more and fit into them better anyway. Regardless, they do fit well enough to work and they work well. The pads are well worth the money spent to purchase them and will hopefully help my child to learn to roller skate without too much fear of falling.
If you have a very young child, these pads may not fit, as they seem designed more toward the 5+ range of children. Some of this also depends on the size of your child.
