We gave this to our truck obsessed 2 1/2 year old grandson recently and I must say that it was a huge hit. He owned the classic Cozy Coupe at one time so he knew exactly what to do when he saw it. It was hard to peel him out of it when it was time to share or go inside. I had read some reviews about the black plastic getting hot if left in the sun so we made sure to leave it in the shade when it was time to go inside. Our grandson gave us unsolicited thank-yous many times while we were visiting over a week's time and that's pretty remarkable considering his age. I know that he will enjoy this truck for several more years. Not having a tool box is no big deal. He carts whatever he feels like in the back.
