I bought this expensive toy for my grandson - age 4 1/2 years old. Found out it would not work on a tar driveway - it MUST be smooth as in concrete or indoor flooring. It was a lot of work to get it to move (adults were more amuzed by itthan he was). My grandson used his feet to propel it forward and then the toes of the shoes wear off.
